I'm wondering what would be a good multi effect unit. I own a Digitech BP200 and its fun for a little inspiration but it really sucks for real life use. It seems to distort my sound at higher volumes and some of the effects are a little cheapy sounding. (not nearly as bad as Zoom) If I were to buy a rack mount unit or somthing along those lines what should I consider. price range under $600 but all suggestions greatly appreciated.

Pay attention to the quality of the AD/DA converters, 24 bit is good, 16 bit is only for cheap stuff like Zoom.

The TC Electronic G-Major is good and not to expensive. It's big brother G-Force is even nicer, but might be out of your price range.
