Interesting is right - especially since there wasn't an American jaguar bass until this decade. I don't even think the squier this looks to be existed in 2003 (but I'm not as sure on that).
So I'd say this is VERY fake (not Fender OR Harley) so wildly overpriced.
Also, further evidence is Fender never moves the Fender on the headstock so that speaks against it too.
Kinda cool (if overdone) if you love Harley stuff. Reminds me of something my old singer would show up with - and think was a highly valuable collectable, even though he got it from China for $300. He actually thought he was getting Fender custom shop parts from whatever that Chinese counterfeit site is.

The listing didn't claim it was American.

I think it looks pretty cool.

Looks like the Squier V/T controls.

The case is okay...even if the country of manufacture is unknown.

  7. I had one, but it vibrated so bad you could only play it for a half hour at a time, and it leaked oil all over everything.

And there's this. Looks to be the same manufacturer (whomever that is). These could be bootleg fakes. Or, they could be true prototype/customs. H-D licensed a lot of non-motorcycle products, especially for the 100th Anniversary.

After comparing the two (Jaguar and Jazz), there are a few suspicious elements. Particularly, the neck plates are not consistent and the back of the heads are different in badging/branding. Only the Jazz is signed (but, not by Willie G.). If anyone is looking to collect, I would definitely consult an expert first.

Oh come on. There are 400 of you guys here who know pick guard screw patterns, tuner styles and other nerdy Fender crap who should be able to tell where these came from if at all Fender.

They do look cool though, and I'm not a Harley enthusiast at all.

Needs a few more Harley logos on it. Seriously, who designed the graphics on this thing?

I'm a biker and absolutely love it. Would love to do some stuff like that for future charity projects, but am wary of trademark/copyright issues. That's the reason we are being careful with our Time Machine bass to avoid too closely copying the Back to the Future Delorean.
