Problem with treble knob on Warwick 5-string bolt on bass

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by bassmeister, Aug 20, 2012.

  1. Hi can anybody help me. The treble pot (as part of a stacked treble and bass pot) on my Warwick bass I have been advised by the guy I know who sets up instruments that it is specialised what I need to use to fix it due to the electronics. Can anybody help me get this sorted. At the moment the treble pot os working but it is not held solidly in place, if that makes sense!

If it's just a loosen smallscrew, fix it, but sometimes it's the
concentric "pottree" itself to show tremblin' issues. If it sounds
good, tremblin' apart, keep it as it is. If it causes noise or falls apart, there can be room to simply replace it (with both pots) at really minor expenditure. Of course, rush if there's a gig in sight

bassmeister, can you be a bit more specific on your issue? I am happy to assist you in any way, once I'm clear on whats really going on. Thanks!
