i have a Crate BT100 bass amp and it's giving me a bit of trouble. one day, i turned on the amp to practice and i discovered that i can not turn off the distortion (it's a two-channel bass amp). i tried using the footswitch and it doesent work on the footswitch. i then disconnected the footswitch and tried turning off thr distortion on the amp itself, cant turn it off there either. the only way i can use the amp "cleanly" is that i turn the gain down and even then i still get feedback.

i tred looking around the net for schematics the amp, but to no avail.

if anyone has a schematic of the wiring or a solution to my problem, it'll be much appreciated.
