Project bass?

    I recently aquired a Yamaha BB300 and i would like to replace the tuners,pups,nut etc etc.I was hoping someone could give me advice on the best replacement parts,hint,tips,tricks.any advice in general would be great. I would like to sand the old finish off and stain it as well. Thanks in advance.

    The Yamaha tuners that were on the Yamaha;s I have owned were pretty good. I think they are designed to have the shaft tightened to control how much play is in the tuner. I think just about any P bass pickup can be dropped in there.
