I'm wondering what the process is these days. I haven't needed a promo pack since the late 90's/early 00's, but after searching here, it looks like things are different now.
I'm trying to get my band into some festivals this year and I am not sure what the best route is. Do you still mail out paper printed bios and CD's? Or, is it all electronic now? Are people even going to bother with dusting off the old CD player and give it a listen, or should I just email a link to our website? I want it to be the easiest method for the promoters so they will at least give it a listen. I have a hard time believing that anyone uses CD's anymore, but, I don't really know.
What do you guys do? What works best for you?

A well crafted email with a link to the website.

Always good to have a few CDs handy, but the website has everything.
