A rep for Providence brought by one of the Anadime Bass Chorus pedals for me to check out. Super impressed with it. We did some video of me messing around with it, and I added some commentary. Thought it might be interesting for someone choosing a new chorus.

The Depth switch and HPF knobs set it apart for me, but you can judge for yourself.

I agree John. I didn't know much about the Providence gear until I tried the Dual bass station. That one was great, and they asked if I wanted to try the chorus. I tend to be a phaser guy, but this chorus kinda won me over. Much more rich and wide than I usually hear.

  4. Great sounding pedal! What amp are you using?

Using the Dual Bass station, and a Distressor for compression and grit.

Apparently youtube didn't publish the commentary annotation I did for it. It's been corrected so you can understand what I'm changing on the settings as I go

  7. Nice demo. It is a great sounding chorus. Here's another demo that I cam across today:

Very nice. I'm a chorus junkie and I'm very interested to know the price and availability on this little number. Sounds great!

Matt - here's the page, looks like they just released it. http://providence-ltd.com/products/effector/abc1.html If I remember correctly the pedals seem to average from 180.00 to 200.00. If you are really looking to grab one I could put you in touch with my friend that reps for them.

Yup. Just checked out the US web site. Very tempting indeed.

  14. Sounds great. I was just about ready to pull the trigger on a Tech 21 bass boost chorus, but this might sound cooler. I'm gonna have to investigate.

Anybody land one of these yet? Any follow up from anyone?

  16. It's pretty much out of the picture for me. No dealer carries them in my province. Found an online store based in Canada that does sell them, but the price tag was about 300$...at that price point I'm not really interested.
