    Original owner of this PRS GG4 Private Stock Bass. I'm downsizing the collection of instruments and while I hate to part with this one, it could really use a good home. Never gigged with. No dings or scratches. Always played in my smoke free home studio. Color is Blue Steel. Includes PRS Private Stock Leather case and all case candy. And original certificate, of course. Originally paid 8500. Steal it for 5400 shipped

    My dream bass, especially with the gold hardware. Can I make payments? I could do $100 a week for the rest of my life....

    I’m only slightly partial but I happen to agree. The thing that’s most amazing is how well they cut through the mix. Quite nicely!

    I can play bass a lot better than I can work a camera. The feet. They need a pedi!

    Does anybody know what the sound difference would be between mahogany and swamp ash body? I have played one with mahogany. It is awesome?

    In guitars, they are close. Mahogany in a guitar is much heavier and a tad more resonant. In basses, I haven’t noticed as much of a difference at all.

    That’s not me trying to sell a bass, btw. I don’t hear of many mahogany basses out there. Many LPs are mahogany. Strats are mostly Swamp Ash. Blah blah blah...

    Thanks! The one I played had a Maple fingerboard. I would’ve liked the Rosewood like you have. I have been known to turn treble down. But that’s just me.
