I want a Prunes & Custard. Anyone know where I can find one? Is ebay my only option?
I got mine a few years ago through one of the dealers on ebay. Gbase.com also list a few dealers. One of the online pedal specialty shops also does Crowther Audio, I just can't remember which one.
Here's one I found online, though I have never done any business with them:
Musictoyz.com has them
Please review it here if you do pull the trigger.
I get my Prunes and Custurd at the grocery store.
I couldn't resist.
I don't have bowel issues so I don't buy prunes
So far musictoyz.com has done me right. i would recommend them.
and, yeah, we want a review
man its rad to actually have a pedal in australia that is easy to get but is semi hard to get in the usa!
yep same deal with the chunk systems pedals.
You could also email Crowther, he'll give you some dealers. There's a dealer in Kansas that had the best price when I was looking (can't remember his name, sorry).
They're easy to get hold of in the UK aswell
Make sure you get the two micro-switch version. Its sexy.
If you happen to get an older one, Paul will update it relatively cheaply. The switch really just adds a 'mellower' mode.
forgive my stupidity btu what is a prunes & custard
Hey, its a very unique fuzz/distortion. It generates many more harmonics than a standard fuzz/distortion.
Oh really? How can I contact him?
Here's the contact info:

How do Kiwis find their sheep? Why, very satisfying of course!
