You can't, in good conscience, use the ignore feature.

    Feh.

Be comforted knowing that sometimes we non-mods really want to ignore you also.

I have never used an ignore feature.....I don't see the point really. If someone insults me, I'd like to hear it, so I can get them back. and if there is some stupid person trolling around, I find it fun to look at their pitiful remarks and laugh. If there is something I'd rather not see, oh look at that, I just saw it, no point in ignoring them now.

    all IMO.

if someone wants to take all the fun out of trolls, so be it. I would be a lousy mod.....I'd egg the trolls on or something, and provide a good show, and make them suffer before ditching them once and for all.

I don't use the ignore feature. No-one's posts annoy me to the extent that I wanna block them out. Mostly, I find boneheaded posts amusing.

They can be - when you choose to look at the occasional one and they are certainly more entertaining than the continual "what gear should I buy" stream - but I can imagine they are pretty irritating if you are a moderator and have to deal with the complaints etc. :(

But then nobody has to be a moderator.... do they?
