i've been having some interesting things happen in my sleep lately - one last nite that may have been more of a conicidence, but it reminded me of something really freaky that happened a couple of weeks ago. last nite i had a very vivid dream (nightmare actually) of a neighbor hanging a child from his neck in the window, and beating him with a stick. tonite i was taken to a party by a friend where they had a pinyatta (sp?) that they were doing the exact same thing to. ok - coincidence perhaps, but it was so similar in the dream. a few weeks ago though... i had a dream that i went on a first date with a woman. in place of flowers i brought her a bag of coffee beans when i went to pick her up (not that i even buy flowers on first dates - not my style). she looked at me strangely and told me she doesn't have a coffee grinder. i remember feeling really stupid in the dream and wondering what posessed me to buy coffee beans???? i woke up at 5AM to go running that morning. came home shortly before 6AM and when I checked my email I recieved a note that someone had signed the nerve guestbook at 5:30AM. I'll cut and paste the exact post: Espresso student .Hello. Your espresso related site very looks good. You've helped me with espresso industry report. e-mail: [email protected] espresso and coffee I went to the site, looked in the title bar, and my hair nearly stood on end. I swear this is an entirely true story. Don't have a clue who put the post there.
I don't pretend to know anything about dream interpretation, but there's a radio program that has a guest who comes in occasionally and discusses this. It seems to me that things in dreams never represent what you expect them to. The connections never appear logical. I'm sure if you rang in and descrived thes dreams, the interpretation would have absolutely nothing to do with witnessing murders or coffee. There must be a website somewhere on dream interpretation?
Man! That is weird. Don't you feel like you're in an episode of Twilight Zone?I have weird experiences while sleeping too..albeit not the same thing you're experiencing but weird nonetheless. Anyways if I were you I wouldn't think much about it and see if it occurs again. I would freak out but it could just be co-incidental. It does happen again then I'd seek for answers from "experts" in this subject/matter. Cheers
