    I was looking at his website and was wondering if anyone has every played any of the 5JJ five strings. They are 34" scale so I was curious about the B string. Thanks.

    not too shabby.

    had a chance to try one last year at the NYC guitar show. really impressive. i just didnt like the larger ultra vintage sized jbass body of the one i played. good taut B string.

    I played that same one at the same show -- definitely solid and meaty. If you want a 35" scale, you should call Matt, he might be able to do that for you (though I don't think it needs it)...
