I need to adjust my pickups and such, but the only screwdrivers I have at school are the kind with the magnetic heads. Are those ok? How much magnetism is enough to change the polarity of a p'up?

While admittedly no expert, I can't imagine the brief contact that magnetic screwdriver will have around your pups will affect anything, much less change polarity... Obviously it would be better to have a non-magnetic screwdriver, but I think you'll be just fine...

  3. Don't worry about the magnetic tip. It will do no harm.
