I have have read on this forum that the Fender
Pure Nickels 7150 have low output.
I apologize if this question is ignorant, but
what is the importance of the out-put?
Can´t you just increase the volume to
    compensate?

If the output is too low, you will have noises. There are always noises that come from a lot of places: from your instrument, from the electric current, from some interference. The louder the signal is, the quieter the noise is, relatively. So, having a loud signal is a good thing, because it gets you a cleaner sound.
It is good to try to get a loud signal, but you should not compromise your tone because of it. If you don't have a problem with noise, be happy with your low output.
