How to the six contacts work on a push/pull volume pot.

    Configuration looks like:

    X X

    X X

    X X

I am trying to add a push/pull pot so that I can bypass my OBP-1 preamp, but still include my passive tone control. I have the wiring configured for the blend and the stacked t/b pots, but I'm not sure how to connect the passive tone control and prempa from the push/pull pot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have pulled the diagrams from the Aguilar site, but they show a separate DPDT from the volume pot.

it's exactly the same as in the diagram.
I'm numbering them across->down 1 to 6, from 1 at top left (i.e. closest to the pot) to 6 at bottom right.
Generally, for a bypass I'd wire it as:
    1 connected to 2
    2 connected to 1
    3 output from blend pot
4 output to tone control / jack
    5 preamp input
    6 preamp output

With this config, pulling up will engage bypass

    Thanks, David.

I think I understand the reasoning behind everything except #3.

So the output of the blend pot should go to 3 instead of going to the right tab on the top portion of the pot, or should I wire a line from the center tab on the top portion of the volume know to connector 3?

Just to confirm, connector 4 will go to the passive tone, then through cap to the output jack which acts as a ground.

Thanks again for all the help.
