Putting treble and bass on concentric knob sbmm ray4

I'm trying to put both my treble and my bass controls onto a single concentric knob on my sbmm ray4, and wondering if the resistances and stuff matter and If I need a specific type. I'm going to be using my extra slot where the bass knob would be to put in an artec qdd2 for a sort of homemade darkray. Help would be much appreciated

Yeah, resistance matters.

My bass has a front input. Would it be difficult to simply mount the input on the side? That would be ideal already anyways
