PUTW (Pick-up The World) dual-element transducer system uses thin polymer film material for their pickup elements. One sensor fits under the bass bridge foot. A second, smaller sensor is attached to the face of the bridge, and provides a completely adjustable range of dynamic sensitivity and detail. Moving this sensor closer to the strings gives more punch and articulation; and, closer to the body, it enhances the fundamental tones and overtones.

The pickup system plugs directly into the included Stereo Line Driver/Pre-amp that has separate volume control knobs (ring and tip) and is very small and lightweight, allowing it to be attached to the tailpiece. It has stereo/mono switchable TRS 1/4“ output.

There is a pretty thorough discussion here:
Pick-up the World Anyone given them a go?

This pickup worked when it was put away. It has now been checked for signal to a mixer and is working. It has not been installed for checking sound. No warranty implied. Take a good look and ensure it is correct for your application before buying. All sales final.

Images are provided here for product info. US mail included, or will ship/mail it at your cost, or you can come to the studio to hear it and pay and take it then.

  2. How does the second element attach? Is it the smaller one? String noise, it it closer to the underwood or to the BP-100

The larger sensor is the bridge foot; smaller sensor is the bridge face. Both have a slightly sticky covering (look closely at the photo). How to mount is also found in that topic I linked, and some is copied here: "It is pretty much along the designs of a Realist with the under-the-bass-foot installation idea, but it also includes a small "articulation" PU that can be placed wherever you like on the bridge. The two come wired mono but PUTW uses a stereo jack, so anyone with a little bit of electronic repair knowhow could easily jump one of the PU leads over to the other post on the jack for a stereo/blender application. Even in mono, I have found the two blended pretty well."

The element that goes under the bridge foot is like The Realist. The element that goes on the face of the bridge, depending on how you balance the two, and how you mount it, provides more or less upper register and brightness.
