    Of those two, for the sound of the '60s?

    Pyramid.
     
  3. you can't go wrong with either. if you want thicker top and bottom end thump i'd suggest pyramid. if you like lower tension, livelier E string, and a touch more sustain go TIs.

    TI's, could never warm up to Pyramids.

    Both are good for this purpose, but i prefer pyramid.
