    Hello,

my bass head got stolen i all i have left is a Fender Jazzmaster Ultralight Head.
I have a few gigs commin up, maybe you guys can tell me if the head can harm the speaker if i use the Ultralight head at high volumes.
It has 250 Watt Power. Speaker is Mesa/Boogie 15".

I also have a Yamaha P1600 power amp here ... is it better/possible to use that thing?

    Thnaks!

The guitar amp will work fine.

Any head will be fine with a bass speaker cab.

The power amp would also be fine, just add a preamp with a line-level output to bring your bass up to the level needed to drive the power amp.
