Maybe Mr Tiers can answer this... on my CL preamp I notice that the lines on 2 of the knobs don't quite ine up properly on the click selectors. It means that looking isn't the best judge of which position is selcted. Can I just pull these off and pop em back on?

May as well ask rather than break something!

Actually they come off really easily but unfortunately it ain't like my Fender Precision bass - they only go on in one position. It's the other part that would need rotating. :eyebrow:

I endorse & use Tech 21 pedals, Eminence loaded cabs, EMG pickups, Jim Dunlop picks & Ernie Ball Strings, BC Rich Basses.
And that part is soldered to the circuit board. :crying: Mine was the same way. On the plus side, its a killer sounding preamp, IMO.

So is mine. It's the mid frequency selector on mine. It doesn't bother me though and in no way am I unhappy with the preamp. I'm a little surprised how common the problem is so I thought I would chime in.

Mine's the same. I usually just count the clicks. Once I set it where I want I usually just leave it there anyway.

BTW. Since there seems to be a few of us here that own this pre amp, I've started a thread asking about your settings. likes/dislikes etc. I'd appreciate it if you all chimed in.
Here's the link to that thread.
