    talkin' about their weight here.

seems like the b@st@rds at MF are once again tempting my wallets like they are wont to do.

so, is the PLX3002 really the same weight as the PLX1602 i used to own?

Yes, although I doubt if they are the same weight down to the last ounce. Everything is identical in the two models except the 3002 has more filter caps, more transistors, and a few additional step driver parts. They are probably within a few lbs. of each other.

I just shipped a 1602, and with box, stuffing, and panels it weighed in at 22.88 pounds.

With the new Generation of QSC plx amps on the market. I am going to guess that all of the old generation amps are going to be pushed out the door by retailers. MF has them on sale, I wonder what the local GC is doing???

Not exactly, but close to it. They're all more than 20 but less than 21 pounds, so we just called them all 21 pounds.
