    Got a new rig.

Peavey Max, QSC PLX 2402, two Bag End D10BD cabinets

Tone is deep, thick, very clean.

    Pretty portable.

    Opinions....ridicule?

    Thanks

The D10BD cabinets are 4 ohm.

I run one on each side of the PLX - 700 watts apiece.

    :)

  3. Jezzus. That kicks ass man. Place around here has Bag End stuff, and I was amazed by those red, furry cabinets before I even knew who bag end was. Sounds like a generous amount of power.. for em.

    Congrats.

Just kidding! ;) I think that Max is a very underrated preamp as are a lot of Peavey products. Sweeeeet rig!

    Thank you,

    re: red fur

.....ALL speaker cabinets should be covered in black industrial rubber floor matting.

    re: MAX

.....yes, affordability was a factor, but so far it seems to perform well

    Me too.:)

.....However, it does seem to be more reasonably priced than some others.
