Now I don't really know if this is classed as fair, but in searching for a new amp I have started to consider a PLX 1602 and then not consider it and then consider it again :D

For the price I can get the PLX 1602 and a decent pre for about the price of the Iamp 800.

So when if I use a EA CXL112 and a NL210 which amp is better for these setups, I will consider the 2402 if there is ample justification for it :p

But basically all I want to know if I run the plx bridged into 4 ohms (1600w)

    Which is louder?

    Which has more headroom?

Is the PLX capable of blowing my speakers with clean power? and am I likely to?

What problems am I likely to experience by running both speakers on a single channel?

    Cheers

any good preamp is going to sound good with the qsc. whether or not it has the sound you're looking for is another question.

basstasters.com is your friend for preamp clips :)
