anyone know if the QSC RMX 850 will give me enough power for an SVT 8x10?
Also to setup a rack system is all i need a preamp, power amp, case, bass , cab? anything else I need to throw in there?
  2. 850 at 4 ohms bridged will be plenty to power an 8x10.

I would suggest using an RMX 1450. 8x10s can probably handle a lot of power, but with 1400 watts vs 800 you'll have a lot more headroom.

  6. I'm getting an RMX850 for a 4x10. So that'll have plenty of head room.

    i have a 1450.

900 (bridged) going into an avatar 4x10 8ohm.

my budget rig really rocks and it does get the job done, but it is very heavy (i have a bad back)

I am running an 850 bridged into an Eden D410T and an SWR 1x15. I can't imagine needing much more more power. Our guitar player uses a Dual Rectifier through a Marshal 4x12, and I can shake the fillings out his teeth.
