Question about EMGs...

So, I'm finally starting my bass build (I've come to the conclusion that it is the only thing that is going to make me happy bass-wise) and I have a quick question. I want to use active EMG pickups but do NOT want to use a whole bunch of knobs. Infact, I'd like to just use the included active volume/tone controls. So my question is, can I hook up two of their pickups to one volume and one tone control?
The only thing that leads me to believe that this may not be possible is the solderless system they have going on, I'm not sure if you can plug two pickups into one volume knob.

And before people ask, the reason I don't want two separate volume controls is because I don't ever use any setting but full on or off. I'm going for a relatively high-fi/active tone with a simple layout.
