Question about Fender American Orginal 50s P Bass

  3. I contacted Sweetwater and the rep said no.
    You can't tell by the photos.
    The AVRI you could see the grain.

  7. I ended up ordering a Classic 50s in White.
    It is alder they say.
    But I saw some photos here on Talkbass of some members instruments and you could see through the finish and the grain looked very much like ash, even if it might have been alder.
