question about GTA3

i have a question -

what's the difference between GTA3, and Vice City ?

 

Vice City is an 80's setting. You are still in Liberty City, it is just very different. Different guys run the show, and different cars/guns etc...

 

Actually...you are NOT in liberty city, you are in Vice City(hence the title), a fictional city in florida based loosely on Miami.

You play as a Liberty City mobster, who has a sort of 'dangerous' position for his bosses, so they want to get rid of him, but since he's so good at what he does, they send him to vice city to take care of some business first.

the game is a sort of sequel, except it takes place in the past, it's basically just a bigger version of GTA3, featuring more guns,cars,people,missions,secrets,and other stuff.

but I prefer GTA3.

 

Oh... I only played it once, and I thought it said "You are in Liberty..." or something...

 

The intro movie starts in liberty city, but then it moves you to vice city.

 

I've never played GTA3 but I've played Vice City and like it very much. I like the whole Miami vibe to it.

I also remember playing GTA2. Back when you had an above view of the game.

 

you can play GTA3 with a top view like that, and it actually looks remarkably similar to the previous two games.

I was very apprehensive to GTA3s new style, but I ended up really liking it.
