Question about my mxr m-80 D.I box

  1. On the distortion channel it has a knob called trigger i tried playing with this and i dont know what it does. so can some one help me or inform me on what it does and how to use it ? thanx

    It is used to set the sensitivity of your gate. Press the gate button in ,max the trigger, and play. You'll notice that your sustained notes get cut off or fart out. Now adjust it from there for minimum noise and acceptable sustain.
     
  3. so your saying if i have it on low or almost all the way down ill have full sustain? or what?

    Yes you will have full sustain when the trigger is minimum or the gate is off. The gate is normally used for high gain settings which generates some noise.
