So I've been really wanting a PJ and I love the color of this:

I've had really mixed experiences with Squiers in the past. My current favorite bass is a mid 90s Squier P that I've modded pretty heavily so I'm thinking of potentially doing the same with this PJ affinity.

My concern is the neck. I can't find one of these locally to try it out, but I have tried the new Affinity Jazz basses and their necks are for some reason super thick down by the nut/headstock and I can't stand it. I don't have a better way to describe it. It's just the way they are cut compared to Fenders.

Anyone have one of these and can post a picture of the neck right by the headstock from a side angle, or just offer some insight on this? Thanks!
