question for any Aerodyne owners!

Hi,

I've been looking at buying an Aerodyne, when i saw it in a magazine my jaw dropped it looks so studly.

BUT my problem is that if i want to play one i have to get my local fender/music shop to order it in, and they are very reluctant to do so because if i don't buy it, they are stuck with it.

So, here are my questions (if anyone could help me out with these it would be great!):

Does it play like a standard Jazz bass?

What is it like for slapping and popping? (is there room between the strings and the body to fit a full finger under? I know you don't pop with a full finger, its just a question)

I want to find out all i can before making a decision, i've played jazz basses before and really liked them.

Could anyone post pictures if they own one?

But at the end of the day if i can't get to play it i probably won't make the purchase.
