Question for Carvin users

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by FreaqyFrequency, Sep 8, 2008.

  1. When you buy materials in bulk from them (accessories, amp, cab, etc.), do all those shipping prices add up? $36 shipping on 3 cables seems a little over the top, even all the way from California.

Its more service charges than shipping. I run a Print/Copy store that ships UPS/FedEx and it's about a third of what you paid for ground shipping on either carrier. Buying locally sometimes is a better deal, avoids shipping, get to know the local network of musicians, etc.

For crap like cables and stuff, it's a flat rate regardless of quantity, so it pays to get all your stuff at one time. They have good deals on Dunlop straplocks and LaBella strings, but you need to get your friends together and order a bunch at once to make the $12 shipping pay off.
Amps and cabs are what they are... per item.
  4. Thanks! That's all.
