What are the pickup dimensions? Specifically the outermost dimensions of the pickup ring? I can't find this info anywhere online.

    4.25" x 2.28" x 0.18" on the first one I grabbed.

Nice. Thanks. That would fully cover a "P" rout if I wanted to make my P bass into a single T40 pickup bass... just for giggles

.........or you could do this with no ring, which lets the T-40 be set lower, and have both. Middle knob is a T-40 tone control that blends from SC to HB and is a high cut for it. Tone control works on both PUs so some highs can be rolled off the T-40 in SC mode. Switch is the Selector. Neat! FWIW, the knobs match now. Just got it together when the pic was taken.

This is a 2nd Model Peavey Forum I got as a kit. No PU or preamp. Enlarged the pocket for a T-40 and had a tort pickguard and TR cover made. It's a killer!!! Bass is angled back in the pic so it looks wider in the butt than it is.

Thanks. The auction site prices have gotten ridiculous but every now and then something reasonable shows up and you can always make an offer if that's available. Ya never know. I don't mind paying the same as a new Dimarzio or EMG if they're in good shape. Got one in the mail today.

Well, no more pics from me! :)

@mech For giggles can you tell me the dimensions WITHOUT the pickup cover?

I don't have one without the cover.
