I just picked one of these up two days ago and have been overall really impressed by its features. Although I do have one question: Why do the level adjusters have to be run full up or very close to full up to get a strong signal? When I plug directly into my amp with the same exact settings on the amp eq the signal is a lot stronger, hence more volume, but with using the bassbone and not changing any settings on the amp eq or gain or master, the sound seems to be dampened somewhat, even with the level all the way up. I suppose I could just use the boost feature all the time to get a stronger signal. The sound is great, but I just wish I could get a stronger signal out of it. Anyone have comments, advice about this?

I had that issue as well and decided to get rid of mine. It has active circuitry that appears to "sap" your signal resulting in perceived lower output. I got it to balance between my fretless and my fretted and never could get an identical signal level in both channels. You shouldn't have to use the boost switch to increase your output, that should only be for when you are soloing or need a jump in volume during a point in the set.
