Greetings I have a Mark II and a Wizzy Speaker (only made in 4ohm) and I'm looking into a 2ohm Amp to run a set of Wizzy's. Any Thoughts???
The EA amps pair exceptionally well with EA cabs. However, the iAmp500 does not put out any additional wattage at 2ohms (500 into 2 and 4). This is similar to the EBSHD350. I GREAT prefer the LMII to the iAmp500 (much quieter, a little louder, more rugged feeling, and less than 1/2 the weight). So, I would selll our 4ohm wizzy and get two 8ohm version (I understand they are available as a special order). If you want an iAmp500 (the voicing is relatively similar to the LMII... a little deeper low end, a little les warmth in the mids)... I have a literally new one (weeks old) with bag for sale for a low price
