The title says it all here is what I am doing

    I run my PA:
    Behringer Euro Desk 24-channel
    205 DBX 31-band EQ
    Behringer Compressor&Cross
    Pair of BR12 (300 rms 600 Peak)

on a QSC 2450 using channel 1 leaving channel 2.
The amp throws out 500W at 8 ohms, 750W at 4 ohms, and 1,200W at 2 ohms, so I have plenty of juice for the BR12s on 1 channel.

I am looking to get a real bass cab and move away from the fender rumble 60watt I've got (its sorta become the designated piano amp now).

Would it be reasonable to do this

Run My bass into a preamp of some sorts (suggestions welcome)
    Into my EuroDesk
    Out of a SubMix
Into the open channel on the EQ
Into Channel 2 on the qsc 2450
Out to a GK Goldline 4x10 cab?
