Am looking for a "Cheapie" medium scale for times when my Warwick Rockbass Starbass is too nice to play (the occasional gig in seedy dives) Have seen the SGR PROWLER 32" SHORT SCALE BASS for $199. Anyone own one? How wide is the nut, how's the neck, fret size, etc. What is the overall quality? Doesn't look like there is anything that a decent PU & Pre couldn't fix, but no one sells one around here in the glacial wastelands of North Idaho. Have looked at the SX, but don't need another Jazz or P bass, thought the Prowler had sort of a unique layout. Would appreciate some feedback if possible.
    Thanks

  2. Not really a fan of Schecter's electronics. If you're looking to spend <$200 on a bass that's somewhat comparable to your Warwick I'd look to something used, first of all. Second would be probably an Ibanez Artcore... ASB 180, maybe?
