Question on the BOSS BF3

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Bigfeet, Jul 10, 2002.

  1. Does it used a clock driver chip like the MN3102 (in most time based effects)? What I want to do is replace the capacitor and add a capacitor switch to control the pf ranges so I'm able to toggle between short chorus, long chorus and flanger. Since it is Digital I don't think it's possible to modify it like this... It's a long shot but I was wondering if anyone knew.

    Thanks

  2. I found out, nope... it all happens in a magnet, where's the fun in that? ;)

I'm going to go for the MXR flanger for now and then get a Line6 MM4 for my modulation effects, I just wanted a chorus with a regen control. :p

    anyway, thanks.
