Is anyone familiar with the up-grade procedure on the GK MB2-500
    amps?
Has anyone sent in one that was purchased used for an up-grade?
    Just curious....

I had my MB2-500 back to GK twice. Once to go from A00 to A02 to fix the excessive low end problem. Then again to go from A02 to A05 to fix the distortion problem. I just PM'd rag here at TB who had me email Brian Clarke at GK.

They definitely weren't super quick about getting me a new amp, but they did replace them for me free of charge... I did have to hound Brian a bit in both instances, and the second time they sent the amp to my old address. I'd rate the whole exchange process as 6-7 out of 10.

No idea about doing this with a used MB2-500.

I'll have to get in touch with GK and see what they say about the up-grade. I don't have any paperwork on this , except for the
    paypal receipt.
    How customer friendly are they?

We replaced most amps within one week total. We had a couple delays when Brian had a baby. You will find we are prompt. Contact brian@gallien.com

  6. Wow, Brian had a baby?!? I'll bet his girl freaked!
Seriously, their customer service is great in my opinion.
