I picked up this cab for $200 with a blown 12 in it. I searched online and the factory replacement speakers are $140 a piece. I'd prefer to put some Celestion "Green Label" in there but the ones I want to use are only available in 8ohms & the cab is wired for 4ohms. I have included the specs for the cabinet below & just want to know if I can simply wire it differently to put those speakers in there or if I'd have to use the 4ohm "orange label" 12's.

    Specs from the SWR site:

Note:All measurements were taken with a line voltage of 120 VAC
    All noise specifications are “unweighted.”
All voltages and watts are “RMS.”

    POWER (minimum)
    350 Watts @ 4 Ohms
    450 Watts @ 2 Ohms

    Hi Fett.

Properly ported cabs need proper speakers to work properly. :D
