    what was the first signature mass produced bass?

    I would think it would have been a fender, but was just wondering if anyone knew exactly which instrument was the first official signature bass.

    Fender's first signature bass was probably the Stu Hamm Urge I, but I'm not sure what the first signature bass period was.
