Sometimes when im playing my bass on my amp, my amp starts to make some kind of staticy noise or something and starts to go out for a second. Does this mean its going to go completely out soon or im playing it too loud or both? :bawl: BTW the amp is a Crate amp and I have an Ibenez amp and it does the same thing sometimes.

give some more info and you'll get better replies
it could be alot of things... blown speaker, bad connection, dying battery in your bass (if its active) etc.

If it happens with both amps, try jiggling the cable at you bass' input jack. Do you get the same noise?

Try using a topic header that tells us what your question is about, more people will read it that way.

Most posts here are a "question". I usually don't click on them if they don't say what they are about (rare).

  5. If it happens with both amps, I'd suspect either the jack or the instrument cable.
