questions about a jazz bass

    a guy at my college has a 2005 American jazz bass for $550 with gig bag. is this a fair price? also it has a red tortes shell pickguard did they ever make them with those standard? or is it aftermarket?

    oh BTW it's in very good shape only 1 small ding

    Price is fair, don't know about the PG.

    Unless it's a first-generation Highway 1 it's a very good deal.

    Nothing wrong with the 1st-gen H1s, there are just better deals out there on used ones.

    i am almost positive it's and american standard it has a poly finish and s-1 switching
