  1. Hiya, wondering if anyone has had problems with the braggs transducer pickup? I find that I do not get even tone across all 4 strings. Is there a cure or remedy for this or is it inherent in all string transducers?

    Thanks :)

Someone told me, when I first got my A4, when changing strings to only change one at a time because if the transducer under the bridge got misaligned it could throw string-to-string sensitivity out of whack. So it's a possibility on your A4 that the transducer is not correctly aligned and therefore not sensing all the strings evenly/correctly.

I'm happy with the string-to-string response of my A4 so I don't think it's an inherent problem with the transducer.

I heard L.R. Baggs products are prone to various problems.

You may want to make sure the ribbon is in its correct place, though. Take out the strings, then remove the micarta bridge saddle (it should be removed easily, it is not glued on), and verify the position of the ribbon.

If the ribbon is guilty, I might be able to get you a new one.
