I play it all. Whatever works for the gig
It is rather confusing I have to say.. You will not hurt the amp at all by plugging into either input.. Try try the HI one first.. If you hear distortion with the input gain know rigt above the input then go to the other input... and work your INPUT control to get the highest meter in your case the LED meter so it only hits RED occasinally when you hit your string hard... I would not worry about ruining the amp.. unless you are slamming the LEDs into the RED all the time constantly ON....... I have an ABM EVOII and run the meter into the red.. it sounds fine. that front end of the Ashdowns seem to have alot of headroom.
  3. Just checked my manual, active = low, passive = high. ;)
  4. thanks alot man.
