quick pricing question on EBMM Sterling SUB Ray 34

    My local mom and pop has one of these in Walnut for $200. EC, no case.

    Deal or no deal?

    these are Indonesian made, right?

    Anyone else have an opinion? is this a great deal or just OK? I am going to check it out today but don't know what's good vs a great price....

    It's a good price. I've seen them go used on here for $175-225 ish. They're used on musiciansfriend right now for $231. If it plays well, I'd pay $200 for it.

    Or you can get a brand new one from MF with their current coupon for $279.

    These are $279 new (no case) at Guitar Center. Assuming it's in good shape, $200 is a pretty good deal.

    I'll pass after I've seen these are included in a bass starter pack for $279. I was hoping it might be the higher end $749 priced model I've been reading about. That would be a deal...

    It's actually priced at $160 and I'm still no longer interested.

    I'm not sure what starter pack you're referring to. These are 279 by themselves. $160 in good condition? It's a very good bass. It's worth trying. You might be pleasantly surprised.
