Not sure where to stick this so I am posting it here. The cables that I currently use tend to get wound up and tangled badly when I play. Is there a cable out there that I dont have to reverse wrap every time I get done with it? Do the tweed covered cables or coiled cables offer any relief? Sorry if this is the wrong place. Thanks in advance for any help!
Alright you turds. I know this is in the wrong spot, but I also know that one of you out there knows the answer. All you have to do is put your fingers on the keyboard. Please don't make me research this myself.
Go wireless. Best cable I ever had! The twisting is simply due to your spinning while you play. You have to stop spinning, or to spin equally much clockwise and anti-clockwise.
Funny thing is that I did just that at our gig Friday night. I noticed that I was getting some tangles so I just made a mental note to spin the other way. Wireless is tempting, but I am afraid that if I go too cheap it won't be worth it. I guess I need to do some research after all. :scowl:
These are the only cables I've ever used that don't tangle for someone like me, who really hates tangles, it is somewhat miraculous. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=177583
