Hi guys, i took a look at the cabinets/ohms sticky and couldn't find my answer :meh:

I have a Pro Tube IX and SVT410HLF (4ohm), i was wondering if it would be possible to use a 4ohm and 8ohm cab though it at the same time or would that cause issues?

Reason being is i'm in the market for a 15" and would like to be able to use them in tandem for gigs off the one head.

    Thanks :)

  2. you will probably have overheating issues, these amps aren't stable below 4 ohms if i recall correctly

Most amps are 4 ohms minimum, so not gonna work. But more importantly, a 410 and 115 is a terrible pairing, no matter how popular it may be. If your amp IS 2 ohm stable, the 8 ohm 15 with the 4 ohm 410 is better than if they were both the same, but still not ideal.
