    Hi,

I am just wondering if there are extra fees for Stingray 3 Band EQ`s, rosewood neck instead of maple and matching headstock and special finishes, etc.
Let me know please. I am curious.

For a Stingray, Sterling, or SR5
    Things that are extra:
    Matching headstock
    Transparent finishes
    Limited edition finishes
    Non-white or non-black pickguards
    Additional pickup in neck position
    Piezo pickup

    Things that are not:
    3 band EQ
    Rosewood vs. Maple
    Fretless lined or unlined

For specific price increases, please consult your friendly EBMM dealer. I may be missing something, but that pretty much is the jist of it.

for lefthanders there's a additional charge too...

and i saw a local pricelist of the distributor here with a bunch of other options which i can't remember right now...

but hey they're great basses and believe me you're willing to pay for an EBMM, it's worth it

Wow, now I *really* feel like I got a good deal on mine. Transparent Gold with matching headstock and piezo. Three upcharges!

Yrah and piezo is an expensive upcharge, about $200 i believe.

My HH SR5 was upcharged bc of the finish, and because it is a 2 pup model.

  7. I paid for the lefty option and the perloid pg - $340AUD for the lefty and $200AUD for the p/g(!)

Still, was worth it - they're excellent instruments and I got it exactly as I wanted.

    (but $200 for a pickguard!!! ***!!!)

Only a few corrections to make so far:

    - the 2EQ Stingray 4 lists for 1615 and the 3EQ lists for 1665.

    - the piezo upcharge (retail) is between 350-400 dollars, depending on the model.

    - most of the burst finishes are upcharges (again, retail) of 75 or 100 dollars.

    - natural finish is a 150 upcharge.

    - PREMIUM natural, which no one ever orders, is a 400 dollar upcharge.

Those are all retail prices, so actual cost to you will be somewhat less.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but non-burst translucent colors (trans red, orange, gold, teal) have no upcharge.

It's made out of ash with really nice figure. When the question was raised on the EB forum a few months ago, none had been ordered so far (to their recollection).

I never knew they offered that option. Any StingRay I purchase in the future will *definitely* have the Premium wood option. Look at that flame!

Hey Turlu, I'll swap you my white on white birdseye maple fretboard five-string StingRay with the piezo bridge pick-up option for your 4001v63!

    Worth a try ;)

And the photos apparently don't do it justice.

Yep, I'd give that one a home.

    What, like...coffee?

Your memory is maybe like mine. Faulty, but it helps you to find socks and, in my case, pornography.

Wow, never even heard of the premium natural finish. Maybe that's why nobody's ordering it? ;)

What about the satin finish? I've seen 'em, are they still offered? Is that an upcharge?

    They're not available.

The only ones I've seen were from the mid-nineties. I don't know if they cost extra.

  20. Wow, that premium natural looks awesome!

I should have got that finish.
