im thinkin about buyin these "Pro steel" "EXTRA super light gauge" strings.
    the strings are:
    E-.095
    A-.075
    D-.055
    G- .035

Are these strings too light, are they good, should i buy the nickel wound instead??? i need some feedback please otherwise i will just get the XL pro steel "SUPER light gauge" instead. thankyou

  2. I use rotosounds of that guage, and they feel great for slap. Great for finger funk too, and you can bend em easily if thats your bag (it was mine before I got my fretless - slides all the way now!). They have a great snappy sound when they are new that really lends to slap and funk.

You will lack some thump however as they are so light, but its personally preferance and style of music that will dictate this. If youre into funk and jazz then go for them, if you play rock and metal then I would suggest a heavier guage (and if you play with a pick heavier strings would be better)

Oh, and finally, this should have been posted in the strings forum :)
