just saw this. the xt20s are officially retired - they did well, but their time has passed heh.

i'm using the mackie 24-8 with a 24e extender to act as a preamp for most of the mics, and a focusrite two channel preamp for the overheads we're using (2x akg 414 buls). also have an avalon 737 as a vocal preamp.

thanks. yeah those are mine (didn't you hear the kids cheering? :D) , i need to update all my pics of my toys. rewiring my rack atm, getting all the bass synth stuff situated, then i'll get the pedals set. dont' really have a "board" per se, just the moog, bassballs, blowtorch and the digi bass whammy sitting on the floor atm.

awesome, i wish i had a dedicated space i could turn into a studio. at least a good sounding live room to start with.

for now, im just stuck in my parents basement  haha
but that hasnt stopped me from pilling up immense amounts of gear :)

    i'm such a fanboi.

    Nice drum set!

What do you do about any bleed over into your drum mics? I was thinking of building a baffle around my drum set to keep that signal as clean as possible. Still learning about all this recording stuff so any advice would be good!
